Tern: The smallest folding bike in the company’s history

With the BYB P10 , Tern presents its smallest and most compact folding bike to date.

The patented TriFold frame construction with two folding joints in the main frame is responsible for the minimal packing volume – which enables a folding size of 33 x 80 x 50 centimeters. When fully folded, the BYB is 30 percent smaller than conventional folding bikes that also have 20-inch wheels.

Tern has presented its smallest compact bike in the company’s history.

Thanks to the stiff DoubleDeck frame and ingenious folding joints, it should unfold from its slim package into an extremely stable vehicle. The Andros stem and the telescopic seat post also ensure that it is suitable for riders from 147 to 195 centimeters tall.

Equipped with a Shimano 10-speed derailleur and Schwalbe Kojak tires, Tern emphasizes the sporty driving characteristics. At just 11.8 kg (without the kickstand), the P10 is also 17 percent lighter than the full-featured P8 model.
